Yellow Fourier Research Labs ("Yellow Fourier," "we," "us") is an independent, mentored research cohort program operated by Nanogen Solutions LLC (California, USA). Enrollment reserves one student's place in the cohort, which is capped at approximately five students and runs six to nine months under senior research scientists. The program runs in three phases:
Fields of study are Computational Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, and Electrical & Power Systems. Enrollment includes weekly online cohort discussions, direct mentorship from the research faculty, the assigned research problem and data, and full support through manuscript preparation. Expected student commitment is approximately 10 hours per week.
Guaranteed: a real, citable research output. Every student who completes the cohort finishes with a manuscript submitted to a public preprint archive (such as arXiv), authored by the student.
Not promised: acceptance at any peer-reviewed conference or journal. That outcome is competitive, is determined solely by independent review, and is never guaranteed.
Admission is by application and interview, not by open sale. Families register through this website, attend an orientation with the researchers, and — if a place is offered — are informed of the program, its schedule, and the fee before any payment is taken. Enrollment is confirmed only after the enrollment fee has been paid for the offered student. Seats are limited and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis among invited families.
The enrollment fee (tuition) is $5,000 USD per student, covering one student's place in one cohort and everything described in Section 2. The fee is a fixed, one-time tuition per cohort seat; there are no recurring charges, and Yellow Fourier does not enroll students in any subscription or automatic renewal. Families are invoiced and informed of the amount before the card is charged.
Because each cohort is capped at roughly five seats and the enrollment fee reserves a specific place, the fee is charged only after a family has been informed of the program, schedule, and fee, and has confirmed enrollment. Once enrollment is confirmed and the seat is reserved, the enrollment fee is non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If your circumstances change, please contact admissions as early as possible — we will review reasonable, exceptional requests in good faith. Families who enroll confirm that the charge was authorized with their knowledge and consent and agree not to initiate a chargeback for a charge they have authorized; any billing question should be raised with us first at admissions@yellowfourier.ai so we can resolve it directly.
We collect only the information families provide to register and enroll — parent/guardian and student names, contact details, and program interests — and we use it solely to run admissions and the cohort. We do not sell personal information or use paid lead generation. Payment card information is handled by Authorize.Net under its own security and PCI standards; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
